ARGGGHGHGHH!!

As I write this I am slightly stressed/anxious and excited.

Excited and anxious because my iPad is being delivered TODAY! (If you follow my twitter you will have noticed me tweeting all day) I am constantly checking the online tracker at 8am it said out to delivery….!!!!!!

The stressed part is that tomorrow is finally the leavers day. This however is very stressful for me as I have been the one making most of the arrangments! But hopefully it will be good.

The videos have been uploaded and are sitting on the web in private waiting to be embeded tomorrow but Im not doing that until after the assembly as I wanted to keep them a suprise.

The iPad awaits………..HURRY UP (im basically just staring out the window)

Great Day

I just want the record to show that today, was a great day!

I have been a little bit run down and ill but today (still with a sniffle) managed to be a very good day. ICT exam part 3 this morning the time flew by and I felt like I got alot down and was on a bit of a roll. Although this isnt me being cocky saying I’m great just that I actually felt like I was doing something right!

After the exam and checking through my emails, one from Sue Crawte (Media Teacher) Distinction in Unit 4- Marketing a product for Media!! WOOP :)

Get home phone call from BBC Blast who I had an interview with yesterday. (They will be running 3 days of free workshops in Bury) and I have been given some work experience with them! WOOOO

So feeling really good I went out for a run to get off the remainder of my energy and it felt good.

Today was one of those days were it was just really, really, really good.

Leavers Video

Over the last few days/weeks I have been filming for a film that will make up part of a Leavers Day show for all us yr13 leavers on the 28th. This morning the video was completed. The idea was to have the film in 4 parts a fun opening, a Q&A, a dance and then a sad ending.

Most of this has been done just at lunch etc but the ending bit the idea is to have some sad music with shots of an empty school. I did this yesterday waiting for everyone to leave before filming some empty parts. However the car park wasnt empty and normally never is. The only time I could guarntee it empty was very early so today I got up 6:30 and took my camera down to the school to film the final shot of the film. Thats dedication for you.

Oh and it is awesome, showed my the video…she cried!

Lets talk…music

So as a DJ and a huge lover of just music I thought it was time I did another little blog about some tunes!

Starting on a great one… Dizzee Rascal’s latest single Dirty Disco. This is a massive tune  I love it, its perfect for the summer and has been getting a bit of airplay which makes me want to turn it up loud! Due out on the 24th May and I think it will get to number 1. No video yet but heres a LIVE clip of the song.

JLS. They have a new song which is called the club is alive. I have heard this once so far and didnt like it. Awful lyrics and for some reason all really badly autotuned which the lads dont need. Im sure I will regret saying this as I will probably end up liking it! The girls will love it becuase its a JLS song. Top 3.

Katy Perry new single- California Girls (listen to it at katyperry.com) another summer smash. The only thing I dont really like is Snoop Dog but other than that it is a great tune. I think her album will be great too.

Example have a new tune out but I havnt heard it properly yet but Im sure its good, Big fan of them.

Jason Durulo- Ridin Solo. My favourite track from the album and will be such a big hit. I think its due to chart this week may get the top spot. Also features and iPad in the video!

Lady GaGa’s remix album is out this week sounds quite good may go buy it only £6 at tescos this week!

Election

I had every intention to  log through the night last night commentating on the election, however I got so in-grossed I forgot.

I have been very interested in the politics since the announcement of the election. I have been torn between Tories and Lib Dem.

Yesterday myself and a group of 1st time voters went down to our polling station. All very exciting.

I then insisted on myself to stay up and see in the results. This on reflection now wasnt the cleverest idea! I watched the BBC 1 coverage (which can I say wa brilliant. I thought I didnt like Dimbleby but he was very good. Nick Robinson is amazing! AND the highlights was the green screen studio and the giant iPad!)

At 2 I went to bed to watch it in bed and made it until just gone 3. I saw as much as the results coming in as they began to flood in. I was hoping to see the South Suffolk result flash on the screen but I didnt make it that far. I woke up at 6:30 to see Clegg get his seat before checking my local vote (which turns out I must have just dropped off before it was announced!) Unfortunately it was not the result I wanted to see for my area.  Although on the plus turnout was up.

So we are technically in a hung parliament (even though we are still waiting for a few more results.) It seems unfortunately that due to the Hung Parliament the country will face uncertainty for the next few days.

Personally this results shows that Tories got the most votes therfore they should run the country. Simple.

Final thing, the voting system needs to change if hundreds of people were left unable to vote due to many issues at polling stations around the country.

Have a great day.

Back to it!

It being school by the way!

So from the last post I said about my brothers band playing they were awesome! There is a video on my youtube channel (links to the left)

Today I was in the auidence for a 1st time voters question time that was run by Radio Suffolk at our school. Very interesting and good. (I got to ask a question.) It will be aired on Friday 30th 10-11 on BBC Radio Suffolk or go to bbc.co.uk/radiosuffolk.

Bit to busy tonight to write much more BYE…>!
