Ryan Bartrop was born and raised in Suffolk. Having lived in a small village Ryan is keen to explore outside of the small town.

Since a very young age Ryan has been interested in music. This love of music led him to become a DJ and start up a mobile disco company. This grew from strength to strength and became very successful.With this DJing experience Ryan knew he wanted to develop this into a career and is currently considering working in Radio.

Not only is music a passion he also is a keen filmmaker. This developed from doing A-level  media and going to Sudbury and Great Cornard Young Film Makers. Ryans interest and commitment in film making has allowed Ryan to produce some high quality short films and also work closely with a local production company. (Offshoot Films)

Ryans other hobbies include running and going to the gym to keep a high level of fitness.

While at Cornard Sixth Form Ryan was very involved in the school community and was chosen to be Head Boy. His duties in this role involved alot of public speaking, organizing and planning events and also being a general good role model.

Ryan is currently studying at Christ Church University  doing Film, Radio and Television Studies. After this he hopes for a career in the media industry (most likely radio.)

Ryan became involved in CSR FM in October 2010 as a producer and in March 2011 was elected as the Station Manager. In May Ryan got his own Friday Breakfast show on the station 7am-10am

I am 18 years old and currently live in Canterbury, Kent.

I attended Great Cornard 6 Form and studies  Business, ICT and Media A levels. I am currently at Canterbury Christ Church University

I am a hard working and enthusiastic person, who can lead and work well in a team or as an individual.

I have a real passion for anything to do with creating media, particularly film and radio. I would like to develop this into a carrer after studying it at University. I attend SAGCYFM (Sudbury and Great Cornard Young Film Makers) which is where I first got interested in filming and have developed my filming, directing and editing skills. (The picture below shows me in action.) At this group I am working towards a silver Arts Award.

I have a real interest in music and from this I got in to DJing. 5 years ago I started my own mobile disco business ‘Rhynoz Disco’ and this has developed into a busy popular and reputable company over Suffolk. (The other picture below is me in action DJing.)
