The year that was..2009

The last day of the year and it is obviously time for reflection and resolutions. Looking back at my blog it has been a jam packed year that alot of things I have completely forgotten about! Looking back through the blog I have done a lot!

  • Went to Britain Got Talent Live
  • Went to France
  • Went to Cornwall and had a rather wet time
  • Made rather alot of films
  • Went to Radio Suffolk
  • Kiss FM
  • Did alot of djing
  • Gave blood twice
  • Did my AS exmas
  • Became Head Boy
  • Turned 18
  • Passed my driving test
  • Bought a mac!!
  • And sooo much more
  • Some of the biggest tags were; Media, BBC, SAGCYFM, school, youtube!

Now I should also probably make some New Year Resoultuions and I have thought of a few….

  • (The hardest one) Spend less time on facebook/twitter (its for my own good!)
  • Work hard to achieve all the results I want
  • Go to University
  • Live everyday to the full (not that i dont already but it sounds cool!)

As I sign off the blog for 2009 I want to wish you a very Happy New Year, have a great 2010.

Afterall a new year is a chance to forget all the mistakes of’09 and start a fresh.

Its all over!

I had a really good christmas and hope you did too, the only bad thing was the prospect of having to work on boxing day (as I HAVE to work every saturday.) Those of you that know me will know that I am a rather big Doctor Who fan and was very excited by the Doctor who episode on xmas day and am really looking forward to part 2 on new years day (BBC1 6:40;) )
Boxing day evening (after work) was also very enjoyable. The sad thing is now is that I dont seem to know what to do with myself in this weird post xmas pre NYE week! Its sort of mope around the house maybe go to town kind of sceanrio. I will be going for a run a little later but other than that its difficult to know what to do with myslef!
I am listening to some good music as got many cds for christmas (Fav is Mr Hudson)
I am going to stop typing now as I am on my dads computer and his keyboard is really clunky and loud to type on and its very annoying.

Keep it real (dont know why I wrote that but yer man!) (Very 1990’s!)

End Of Childhood

Tomorrow I enter Adulthood (not the film!) Scary the big 18…although i will probably feel no differance at all! (Apart from maybe the drinking bit but thats not really new!)
A few things;

  • I love “Starstruck” By 3OH!3 feat Katy Perry
  • Also “Playing with Fire” By N Dubz Feat Mr Hudson
  • Have created a vimeo channel www.vimeo.com/ryanbartrop (not really sure why though as YT is much better!)
  • Also check out the SAGCYFM youtube as some new videos have been uploaded
  • The snow is still fricken here and now its just getting on my nerves I just want it to melt now!

Last night was my birthday party! I will be 18 on wednesday so last night was the party. I got rather drunk (hehe) and everyone had a really good night and we danced alot. I woke up this morning and didnt actually feel hungover :)

Party looming…

Im getting very excited as saturday is my birthday party and I cannot wait! It should be a good one the big 18!

Filming tomorrow for my media project and hopefully that will all go well.

Other than that nothing else really to blog about other than it snowed today and its nearly xmas :)
